Does your passport make the cut?
The Henley Passport Index ranks all the passports of the world according to the number of countries their holders can travel to visa-free.
They use data collected from the International Air Transport Association.
It turns out that Japan has the most powerful passport in the world, with holders able to travel to a whopping 189 countries.
Tying in at second is another Asian country, Singapore, and Germany, with access to 188 countries.
Part of the reason for the dominance of Asian countries in the top spots in new, relaxed visa requirements in Uzbekistan which makes it easier for Japanese and Singaporean citizens to travel there.
Here’s the top ten most powerful passports in the world:
War-torn Iraq and Afghanistan have the lowest score, with just 30 visa-free countries, and Somalia and Syria, don’t fare much better, with 32 countries.
